The Sony Play station Portable is a very versatile device. This is because the device is able to have a lot of functions other than just playing the games for which it was primarily designed. Other than the games, the device can also be used to play videos and also play songs. This makes the Sony Play station Portable a complete entertainment tool. It can be used when people travel and also when they are bored in anyplace.

There are not many methods to add the songs to the Sony Play station Portable. There is only one method and that is to first identify the songs that have to be transferred to the Sony Play station Portable. This is in fact the first step that is taken in the process of transferring the music to your Sony Play station Portable. Once the songs have been selected, they are put into a single folder on the computer. The songs may have been selected from various portable devices or discs and they are loaded into the computer into a single file.

The next step is to find if the actual capacity of the Sony Play station Portable will be enough to have the songs added to it. If the capacity is not enough, then the person can either add a new memory to the Sony Play station Portable which has a higher capacity. Once this is done, the actual process of adding the songs to the Sony Play station Portable can be started.

This process is started by connecting the Sony Play station Portable to the computer through the universal serial bus port commonly known as the USB port. Once the connection is made, the computer will recognize the device. After this step is completed, the person can directly transfer the songs to the Sony Play station Portable from the computer wither by dragging the file and dropping it in the play station.

This drag and drop can also be substituted by adding the file one by one though this is a time taking process. Once the files have been transferred to the Sony Play station Portable, the device can be disconnected from the computer. This process can be completed by safely removing the hardware from the computer by clicking the appropriate icons. This will complete the major processes involved in the process of music transfer.

The final step is to get all the songs that are in the Sony Play station Portable to be saved or transferred to the appropriate locations and folders. This is in fact the final step that is involved in the transfer of the songs and music from various sources into the Sony Play station Portable. Once the songs are added to the Sony Play station Portable by this method, the Sony Play station Portable can be used to play the songs anywhere and also anytime you want. This will make you have a fun filled travel or even when you are bored, you will be able to have an entertainment tool that gives you company at all times.
