It is necessary that everyone of us should remain healthy and fit. Though the words "Healthy" and "Fit" are often used together and in common contexts, both have different meanings.By "healthy" we generally mean that one is perfect in his health. He takes in the required quantity of nutrition, acquires and preserves the normal immunity powers of the body system so that he doesn't fall "ill" due to the attack of bacteria or virus.He will live longer through better state of the body and its systems. But being fit may be different. By being healthy, one cannot be fit. To be fit , one has to withstand the normal wear and tear of the body like malfunctioning of pancreas leading to diabetes, failure of liver, kidney due to hypertension, sugar or bad food habits. These internal disorders can be prevented or controlled through regular exercises which will help in the maintenance of the organs and metabolism. To ge regular in exercising , one has to be fit. Stamina also goes up through exercising and this will help in an emergency when one has to run, walk or jump around in an emergency. This is the basic difference between health and fitness. To be completely perfect, one has to remain healthy as well as fit. Take the right foods/ diets, form good living and food habits and at the same time do the right exercises to remain fit. By following the above principles, one can keep away the external attacks of illnesses and also keep away the internal disorders. Younger generation has to be taught about the importance of getting the right food. they must keep away from the junk food which generates bad cholesterols and sugar and attracts hypertension and disorders to liver and kidney. Natural foods should be encouraged. More of exercises and moving around rather than watching TV shows and spending hours before the Computer should be discouraged.The elder people will have to show them the right path. For this, they have to be more disciplined. If nobody takes these things seriously , we will be facing a generation full of unhealthy and unfit people with a lot of drugs, medicines and therapies going round. So let us all decide to spread the above message, follow it truly and make the human race a better one.
