Is it possible to avoid anger at work place? When the behavior of the other person is not polite, how to tackle it? We have to decide whether his behavior impacts our performance in anyway. If not, we can just ignore that person. We need not make complaint against him. We can try to make him understand. We can even request him to behave in the right manner. For doing this, we should make him listen to us. To begin with, we can say something that implies appreciation. Then, we can request him to do or say whichever is possible for him. Finally, we can make him feel that we are not offended by his rude behavior. Swallowing our anger, if do all these patiently, we can avoid getting anger at work place.

We have to fight with anger within us and conquer it. We can use creative and innovative methods, to achieve it. When the men show anger at work place, everybody will say that he is strict. Men are allowed to get angry at work place. But, when a woman show anger at work place, it is said that she lost her control and she is viewed in a negative light. The work environment is not the same for men and women, even though they perform the same duties. At work place, for men, anger can serve as a powerful tool to achieve status at work, but, women may have to be more serene in order to be seen as rational.

There are many reasons why people get angry on the job or react to situations or colleagues. If we present ourselves, as easy going co-worker, then only others will come to us. Some people are having the habit of making snide comments and indirect comments about others. If this reaches the concerned person, they will definitely get angry. Maintaining a professional behavior is best for anybody. We need not speak sugar coated words always. We should show our true character at work place so that others will not take unnecessary advantages and make us angry. We should be friendly with subordinates and coworkers. If we work hard sincerely, we will earn good name from our superiors.

Stress is a passive form of anger. If we are stupid enough to put them into our memory, they will come and go again. When somebody shouts at us unnecessarily, we can console ourselves by thinking that " he does not know me as much as I know myself; his opinion does not count to me anyway and this man is a suffering individual and I have to show compassion towards him-. If we respond with anger, we have to remember the whole conversation for lifelong, spoiling our health.

To keep away from people at work place is not at all a solution. We have to respond with wisdom and mindfulness. The practice of yoga and meditation helps us to control anger. By forgiving others, we give them a chance to correct. The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. We have to choose loving kindness as we would choose a friend and let us make loving kindness our life-long friend, by controlling anger at work place.
