We all have grown up going to the neighbourhood shop to buy the little things that our parents wanted to or to buy candy. Technology is growing so rapidly that there might be no shops in the future. Welcome to the world of internet shopping. The land of ebays and amazons. In the new world, you not only get things cheaper, but also you can bid for it at your own price. This is not the only benefit of online shopping. We will have a brief look at the benefits and disadvantages of internet shopping. Benefits of Shopping online: 1. The goods can be purchased without going to a shop.(This is very useful for people who are very busy to go shopping) 2. The goods are usually door delivered, which is what makes it very useful for differently abled people. 3. All kinds of stuff can be bought at the click of a mouse(This is the age where people even sell off their own life!!!) 4. You need not carry paper money with the risk of losing the money. Credit cards are very useful in buying online. Disadvantages of shopping online: 1. You are not able to visualise the stuff you are buying. 2. Credit card fraud and other online frauds are common,making it necessary to purchase only from top online shopping sites 3. Sometimes the goods which are delivered may be of substandard quality though the shopping sites have various measures to prevent such malpractices. These are the benefits and disadvantages of online shopping. Perishable items such as vegetables have not been sold online in a great way as people prefer to check these before buying, but we may not be too far off from the day when we order even vegetables online.
