The Indian Premier League has brought many changes to the world of cricket. It has caught attention of a lot of sponsors to invest in Twenty-Twenty cricket matches in Millions of dollars. Bollywood actors, actress and business tycoons, all have come up with a lot of interest to sponsor these teams. Here is a brief write-up about the most famous sponsors; Shahrukh Khan: Shahrukh Khan is known as king of Bollywood, for his success in giving highest number of super hit movies. He even gained the popularity in giving a sports based movie, "Chak De India". He has been sponsoring the team, Kolkatta night riders. The team could not perform well. But Shahrukh Khan has been a center of attraction for IPL. Shilpa Shetty: Shilpa Shetty is a Bollywood actress, based on Mangalore. She has gained lot of popularity in Bollywood for her slim and smart look. She was in news for the affair and break up with the Star actor Akshay Kumar. In her first attempt of sponsoring Rajasthan Royals, the team became the champions of IPL. Preety Zinta: Preety Zinta is Bollywood actress, who has gained much popularity in Bollywood for her sweet smiles, childish look and talented acting. She has been sponsoring Punjab kings eleven. Vijay Mallya: Vijay Mallya is one among the most successful of businessmen of India. He has been sponsoring Royal Challengers, Bangalore from two years. This time, he could make his team, as the runners up in IPL, Tina Ambani: Tina Ambani is a wife of Mukesh Ambani, the richest businessman of India. She has been sponsoring Mumbai Indians. The star batsman Sachin Tendulkar, being a captain of the team, they have created much hope. But, they could not become champions. The contributions of these people are remarkable. In future, we may see much more voice for IPL and interest in sponsoring the teams. Even the State level Premier Leagues are coming. I hope the businessmen and actors would show the interest in sponsoring those teams as well.
