These are times where there is an increase in the number of companies. Due to the recession, there is a slight decrease in production and sales around the world. In spite of the subprime crisis, the recession has not caused very great problems. It has not been as bad as the Great depression of the years past. The economy has been revived to an extent, around the world due to the pro active role played by various governments in bailing out ailing companies and industries.

The improvement in the economy means that there is also going to be an increase in the competition between various companies. There are various methods to improve the organization and the business at every level. This article talks of the various methods that can be employed by the owner of the company to improve business and overcome the competition. The most important aspect of this is the customer satisfaction.

1. Vision: The company should have a vision. It has to be known by all the workers in the company. Achieving the vision of the company should be the aim of the workers in the company. The vision should be the future aim of the company. This vision of the company should be customer centric. This will help the company to become better.

2. Empowering the workers: The workers have to be empowered to work with enough freedom. This will help the production to increase and also the sales. This is one of the important methods of improving the organization and the business. Though the workers are empowered to work with freedom, they should be made to understand that they have to adhere to the rules and regulations of the company. The employees have to know that the customer is the king and made to treat the customer accordingly.


3. Achievements: Individual achievements have to be recognised by the company management. This will help the employees to be motivated to work and perform better. The achievement have to be recognised immediately by the management. This will inculcate good and efficient behaviour from the employees. If the organization achieves success by increasing the profitability, then the workers who were all part of the success have to be rewarded by the management. This reward can be in the form of a bonus or other monetary rewards. The other employees can also be given promotions as reward.

4. Coaching the employees: The senior management have to coach the employees on the important methods of working. This will help the employees to perform better. The employees have to learn the methods of dealing with the customers. They should also learn to serve the customers better. It will ultimately help the company or the organization to perform better.

5. Training: Adequate training to the employees also needs to be given. This will help the employees to upgrade the skills. This can be done with either formal training. The management must also keep learning. This will help the company to function better.

6. Changes: The management and the company should keep pace with the various changes that are occurring in the environment. This will help the company to use new techniques in various activities. This will make the organization more customer oriented.

These are the various methods of making the organization better and also customer oriented.
