In the current information technology age many people understand the importance of computer. Hence there is increase in the demand of personal desktop computers for home. So here are the few vital tips to increase the performance of computer. 1) After every 2 to 3 months period open the side panel covers of CPU cabinet, remove the dust from the CPU FANS, SMPS, MOHTERBOARD and every corner of the cabinet with air dust blower. Always keep cloth cover on the MONITOR, CPU, KEYBOARD, MOUSE and SPEAKERS while computer is not in use. 2) Generally maximum service engineers install microsoft windows xp professional. While you have completed all work on computer. Before shutting down the computer run the DISK CLEANUP utility to remove unnecessary file form the hard disk. PATH: START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>DISK CLEANUP From the drop down menu always select C partition first, than clean the other partitions 3) Run the DISK DEFRAGMENTOR to rearrange the important system file at least once a week. Here also select the C partition first, than select the other partitions. PATH: START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>DISK DEFRAGMENTER. 4) Run the SCAN DISK to check bad sectors, common error on the hard disk once a week PATH: Select C partition>Right click>PROPERTIES>TOOL>Click on check now. After this select other partition for error checking and scanning. 5) If you have the internet connection than install the latest Antivirus, Anti Spyware Update the virus definition files per week along with anti spyware. update button is given on the antivirus softwares. After completed the internet surfing, run the antivirus and anti spyware one by one. After implementing the above tips, you can feel the increased performance of your computer.
