To be a successful person is the dream of almost every person. Success is not common for all the people who want to be successful. Some people may attribute this to luck. Others may think it is fate that one person succeeds while another with a similar attitude fails to be successful in life. There are various factors that play a role in the success of a person in life. Almost all these factors can be modified by the individual to work for them. Some of these are explained below: 1. Hard Work: Hard work is the key to a successful life. When a person gives his or her best in anything they do, they are bound to be successful. Luck and being in the right place at the right time may work for some people, but it does not work consistently for all people. The best thing that consistently creates successful people is hard work. 2. Determination: Determination is also very important for a person to be successful in life. Determination is the key to victory. If a person is not determined in whatever they do, then failure will be around the corner. 3. Planning: Planning is very important for a person to be successful in life. The person has to plan what they are going to do. Sticking to the plan in spite of failures is also the key o being successful. Giving up in times of crisis can lead to failure. Each step of a person's life has to be preplanned. Even when things do not work or go according to plan, the person has to stick to their plan if they are convinced of their plans efficiency. This will help the person to be successful. 4. Face failure bravely: ‘Fortune favors the brave' and ‘Failures are the stepping stones for successes are two key adages. A person has to be brave at times of crisis and also have to be brave at times of adverse conditions to be successful in life. Wilting under pressure will lead to a person's life becoming dry and fruitless. 5. Willpower: Will power is another key to success. The will to succeed and trying hard for success will help a person to be successful in life. Each person may have each of these or at least some of these qualities to be successful in life. Every person who has been successful would have faced various trials in their lives. Success does not come easy. People have to work hard and overcome various difficult situations to be successful.
