Most women wish that they never had hair on their legs, arms, face and other places simply because sometimes it can get embarrassing to have hair in places that should be absolutely smooth. Most people have unwanted body hair but some have more visible hair than others. The amount of body hair that each individual has is mainly hereditary. If your parents have more body hair then chances are that you will have them too and their is nothing that can be done at that point. As you grow older their are several ways to remove unwanted body hair but what is most important is to use ways that do not damage the skin.

Shaving
This is the most common method used to remove unwanted hair since it is the most convenient one. The only draw back being that the hair becomes visible very soon but a lot of people prefer this method since it does not involve any pain. However, women should not shave their faces, shaving can be used to remove hair from all the parts of the body except the face. Also it is recommended to soften the skin with water and foam before shaving for a smoother and a better looking skin.

Bleaching
This is another pain less method for hiding the unwanted body hair instead of removing them. Bleach is mainly used for facial hair, it does not work very well on dark or very thick hair. Also, since it is comprised of chemicals, it can cause a burning and itching sensation and may not suite all skin types. It is always better to apply a small amount of bleach on your hand first to see it suites you and if you are allergic to it. If the treated area turns red, gives you a rash or has a un bearing itching sensation then probably this is not the right method for you.

Waxing
Waxing can get a little messy and time consuming but it gives by far the best and long lasting results. Simply apply wax in the direction of hair growth, put a piece of cloth or paper on top and pull in the opposite direction. There are several waxing products available in the market, it is very important to follow the directions given on each kit. This method is more painful but probably the best way to remove facial hair. Wax should not be used on injured or cracked skin.

Hair removing Cream
Their are several hair removing creams available in the market to remove unwanted body hair. These creams are very strong since they remove the hair by dissolving them. This method can be harsh for sensitive skin and may not be right for every body type. One must always do a patch test on their body before applying it on the rest of the areas.

Threading
This is a popular method to remove facial hair and is especially used in the Asian countries. This is an art that is performed by specialists in the beauty salons only. Threading is mainly used to remove facial hair including upper lip hair and shaping of the eye brows.

If your skin gets dry after using any of the above methods, use a good moisturizing lotion to soothe the skin. Different methods can be used to remove unwanted body hair depending upon the area that needs to be treated. Also, one method may be preferred by one but not by the other. So choose the method that suits your skin type rather than doing what every body else is doing.
