Music is a very great entertainment for many people. No wonder music sales rakes in billions of dollars each year. There are various methods of music sales and transfer from one device to another. One of the commonest method and the best known method is the purchase of iTunes for your Apple IPod. Many people these days use the Apple IPod to make sure that they get quality music that is very clear. Many other devices that are used for hearing music do not have the same clarity as the iTunes heard on an Apple IPod.

Apple allows the music files to be transferred from the computer to the IPod and this is a commonly done procedure. Almost all the users of Apple IPod know the method of transferring music from the computer to the IPod and even Apple support tells the method of doing this. It is a simple and automatic procedure where the computer and the Apple IPod get in sync with each other as soon as the computer and the IPod is connected.

At the same time, there is no information on the method of transferring the music files or the songs from the IPod to the computer. There are various reasons for the silence on this subject by Apple. One of the reasons is that when the song can be transferred from the IPod to the computer, people will buy iTunes once and then share it with all their friends and others leading to a loss for the company.

The client may need the chance to be able to transfer music from the IPod to the computer in situations where the person has bought a new computer and may want the songs to be downloaded in the new computer. There may also be various other instances where the consumer may want the songs transferred to the computer.

Transferring method:

There are various methods that have been devised by various programmers and other people to be able to transfer the songs and the music from the IPod to the computer. Some of these methods are very simple and there are other methods that are more complicated. One of the simplest methods of transferring the song from the IPod to the computer is to fist get the IPod connected to the computer through the USB drive.

Usually the IPod gets in sync with the computer as soon as it is connected. This is prevented by pressing the control and shift key. When this is done, there appears a dialog box that asks if you need to create a new list. You have to click this option and this makes sure that the IPod is recognized by the computer as a removable disc. Once this happens, the transfer of the music is very simple and the person has to just click on the song files and then have them ‘sent to' the computer.

This is the simplest method that can be used to have the songs and also the music files transferred from the IPod to the computer.
