When a person suffers from hair loss, there can be various consequences. One of the consequences is psychological. This is because when a person has loss of hair, they do not consider themselves to be young enough. Hair loss can be a sign of ageing and this makes the person feel that they have become old. This makes them feel depressed. The hair loss that is present can be due to various reasons including stress, heredity, medications, inadequate hair care, ageing and even hormonal causes.

The various treatments for hair loss include some treatments that are natural remedies and other treatments that involve medical treatment. Each of these treatments will be effective for some people. There are other people for whom only one of these may be effective. For some people, even all these treatments may not be effective. This is because the hair loss can sometimes be due to some irreversible cause and this makes the hair growth to be impossible even after different kinds of treatments.

The various home remedies for preventing hair loss are:

1. Coriander:

The coriander can be crushed t make coriander juice and this can be in turn applied on the scalp of the person. When this is done regularly for a few months, it will help to prevent the hair loss and also cause more hair to grow in the place of the hair that has been lost.

2. Coconut milk:

Application of coconut milk over the scalp has been said to reduce the hair loss and also help the hair to grow back again.

3. Red gram or fenugreek seeds:

These can be used separately by making a paste and either of these pastes can be made and then the paste is applied on the scalp. This application of these pastes can be done at least once a month. After the application of the paste on the scalp, the person can wash after leaving the paste on the scalp for about one hour. This is one of the most effective methods of making the hair to grow back.

4. Olive oil, honey and cinnamon paste:

The person can make a mixture of the olive oil and also honey with ground cinnamon. This paste like substance can be applied on the scalp of the person who is having baldness. This paste can be left on the scalp for about quarter of an hour. This will make even patches of baldness to disappear. This is a treatment for baldness that helps the hair growth in the bald areas.

These are some of the most natural methods that are present that will help to have the person to have hair growth on bald areas and also help to prevent further hair loss in those who are already suffering from hair loss. In case all of these fail, then some people may have false hair fixed to their bald scalp.

There is also some recent medical advancement for hair loss and that is surgically inducing the hair to grow in the bald areas of the scalp. This surgical intervention is only for young people who have had hair loss.
