Healthy food habits make a person to possess a good health. Preference of food items differ from person to person but the overall requirement of vitamins and proteins is the same for every human being. Not every food item has all the components required for good health. Generally the criteria to prefer a particular food item, has been the taste of it. The content of has been little importance.

Tongue is a part of human body, which tastes the food. But the food item which tastes the most is not necessarily an item to give the contents required for a good health. Many healthy foods as prescribed the dietitians are not tasty, but are of much important to have a healthy body.

There should be the gap of about four hours after taking the food. But we have the habit of buying and eating the things as and when see something tasty being sold on the streets. Even the healthy and hygiene factor is not considered, when people eat the chats and other food available on the street. The food prepared and sold on the streets are open to all the harmful things like insects, dust, etc. Even the inferior quality of oil and other things are used for cooking. There are canteens that grow the required food plants in the slum area behind the canteen. It comes to the dining table with good taste, good smell and color. So people are happy to eat it.

But if one has to maintain good health, he should avoid all these unhealthy foods. The healthy food has to be taken at the rightly practiced time. It is advisable to a family dietician to take the regular guidance about food habits.
