Tea is a refreshing drink that is drunk all over the world by people. There are different types of methods in which the tea can be prepared. Black tea is made without adding milk to the tea. Green tea is another type. Adding milk and sugar to the tea will give a different taste to the tea. Tea as such has many health benefits. The caffeine in tea is very less for a person to get addicted to it. The increases blood supply helps to decrease the blood pressure. Tea is also considered a digestive agent. Black tea is supposed to help in digestion. It also helps in preventing diarrhea.

because of increased blood supply to brain. It acts as a stimulant, but does not over stimulate either the heart or the brain.

4. Black tea also makes breathing easier for people who are suffering from shortness of breath. This is especially true for asthmatics, who suffer from dyspnoea. One reason for this may be because the tea is drunk hot. The heat may break the mucus and relieve the spasm of the bronchioles of the lungs.

5. People drink tea to be awake. But it does not seem to have any major impact on sleep. The reason for some people being awake after drinking tea may be due to the stimulating effect tea has on the brain due to the caffeine.

It should be remembered that the health benefits of drinking black tea are more if the person does not add sugar to the tea. Adding sugar may spoil the taste of the real tea. It may also result in increased blood sugar levels that can be unhealthy.
