Any common man may have to spend lot of money suddenly towards health problems. If he is rich, he can manage the risk. Some people might have taken insurance policy which covers the expenses incurred. Those who do not possess the wealth and insurance cover, will suffer a lot. The insurance companies should support by giving good medical policies to cover maximum medical expenses for those in need of medical care. It is the social justice for every citizen of any country to get proper medical care. Some companies insist employees to take medical insurance and in some cases, the employers may pay for medical insurance of employees. Instead of paying employees in the form of pay hike or perks, employers show their care on employees by allowing these benefits.

The cost towards health care is increasing day by day due to longevity and increase of cost of medicines and other medical charges. Due to recent advancement in science and technology, in the medical field also there is much improvement noticed and scientists are striving hard to solve any health care problem. People should have the mindset to go for small hospitals if the facilities are good. The death rate of children and women should decline and due medical care should be given to them.

Putting in simple words, the cost analysis of health issues is known as health economics. Analysing existing plans, implementing new schemes and plan for future development all come under health economics. For the research activities and for finding medicines in respect of serious diseases such as AIDs and cancer, lot of money is spent. Special care is taken to see that health care schemes are reaching the rural population, children, women and those who are in need. The awareness regarding taking medical policy should be created among public. So, the health economist should perform his duty with much involvement and take more responsibilities, as it is really a service to mankind.
