Let us be honest here, Hawaii is a destination which almost always has to be brought into any honeymoon discussions. The place, after all, is famous for its beauty. Even though the island is small in size, it is bound to have places where a couple can get away from the rushing mass of humanity. Today, we will endeavour to find some places for our readers considering a honeymoon in Hawaii.

Waipio Valley is on the top of our list for honeymooning couples who are looking for some peace and quiet on their travels. The only reason why this place is ideal for couples wanting peace and quiet is its inaccessibility. The valley is surrounded on three sides by steep cliffs and on the fourth side is blocked by the sea. Another aspect is that most car rentals in Hawaii do not allow their cars to be driven into the valley. These two facts alone reduce the number of the island's total tourist population coming to this valley by half. Furthermore, the icing on the cake is that this valley has a black sand beach nestled in its bosom. Kalaupapa is another less accessible and yet beautiful location where honeymooning couples can enjoy that much deserved serene environment after the hustle of daily life. Kalaupapa is a national park which can only be reached by air or through a long trek. However, once there, the place can easily be equated to paradise. Another added advantage for couples on honeymoon is that a tourist can only go there if they have prior reservation and are over 16 years of age. The national park has a guided tour in its armoury as well. The Na Poli coastline is also a sight that must not be missed if one is visiting Hawaii. The coastline is best observed from the sea through the Kauai Zodiac Boat Ride. The coastline boat ride has many surprises in store and should be expected to be more than just romantic.

When visiting Hawaii, whether for honeymoon or otherwise, one must enjoy the Luau. The Luau is the traditional Hawaiian feast which mainly consists of a whole pig cooked in an underground oven accompanied by various fruits, dry fruits and side dishes. These are our top recommendations for a couple visiting the island and we wish you Godspeed and a wonderful honeymoon.
