The various things that have to be done initially are the following:
Planning is very important when you are planning to start a site because only by proper planning will you be able to make the correct decisions and start the site. In the initial planning phase, you should decide the niche for which you are starting the site. There are many people who do not plan efficiently and this causes the site to be a flop. The niche that you are going to concentrate on in the site should be initially planned. It is not good to have many things done in the site because of you concentrate on too many things in the site, it can cause your site to lose its identity.
2. Deciding on the name:
The name or the domain name for the site needs to be decided. The person should make sure that the name is decided before trying to register the domain name. This is because only in the last minute, if you tart thinking of a name, you will end up with a bad name for your site that will make you lose a lot of advantages. The name should be simple and easy to remember. The site should also be Search engine optimized through the domain name itself. So, proper decision on the name is very important.
There are various agencies that help you to register the domain name. The correct agency is very important because the person may not have the name registered properly and this can lead to problems later on. Also for a site with decreased traffic potential, the registration and monthly fee is very less. So planning it carefully will save you a lot of money.
4. Designing the site:
The design of the site is also very important because only when the site is designed properly will the person visiting the site be able to make adequate use of the site. The design of the site will benefit more if it is designed by a professional. The professional design will give returns to you more than you expect, though you have to spend some money for the designing.
These are the various things that are very essential in designing and doing the groundwork in building a site. A person who designs the site should make sure that the needs of the visitors to the site are taken care of and this will make the site user friendly.
