Food is an important aspect of a person. The food that a person consumes can make the difference between the health of a person and ill health. There are various foods that we se each day. We may not consume all of these foods because we know that there are certain foods in these that are harmful for the health. There are also some foods that we consume regularly that may be very unhealthy if we do not know about it.
This article aims to make known the common foods that we consume that could be deadly and cause various diseases and also health problems. Reading this article will make you understand the difference between healthy food and not so healthy food.


1. Protein rich food:


The person who wants to be healthy and eat healthy food should consume protein rich food and this should be the primary concern. There are various foods that are very rich in protein and these should form the major part of the diet, Protein rich food is very important because protein causes the person to have decreased feeling of hunger. In fact protein causes satiety in the person. This also decreases the need for storage of food as fat in the body. This is the most important reason for protein being considered to be part of the weight reducing diet that is seen.

2. Fiber rich food:

The fiber is another important aspect of food that has to be remembered. The person who eats a fiber rich food will be able to decrease the occurrence of diseases like colon cancer and also there will be a decrease in constipation. Foods like spinach and vegetables are all rich in fiber and they should form the core part of the diet. The fiber rich foods also form bulk in the stomach and are filling. This makes the person to be able to eat less. This in turn reduces the weight of the person and gives good health.

3. Foods that are low in carbohydrate:

Foods that are low in carbohydrate should be consumed because when the food has a high content of carbohydrate, then it is bound to be stored in the body as fat. This is the reason for people going on a diet that has very less carbohydrate. A person should eat adequate amounts of carbohydrate, but not excess amount of this kind of food.

4. Oils:

There are certain oils that are good for the health. These can be consumed. There are a lot of bad oils and they should be avoided. The best oil that is very good for the health is the olive oil, especially the virgin olive oil. This is very good for the heart and also for health generally. Other than this oil, soy oil can also be consumed as part of the diet.

A person who is on a diet that has all the components mentioned will be very healthy and the person will have a disease free life. This is very important as this reduces the health costs and also the worry associated with diseases.
