Financial management is a required skill for every businessman. In one way or another, every businessman needs to deal with his finances. Here are few most popular financial management tools or methods.

Cost of Capital:
Cost of capital is a study and analysis on optimum way of forming the capital for the business. We have many sources like stocks, debentures, loans from financial institutions, public deposits etc. Study and analysis on all the available way raising capital and determining the capital structure would decide the initial success of a business.

Capital budgeting:
Capital budgeting is a study and analysis about predicted rate of return in the business predicted profit which can be earned after meeting the cost on capital. Capital budgeting can be done with the study of payback period of capital, interest of the capital, profitability rate of business etc.

Ratio Analysis:
Ratio analysis is a study about the ratios between the related aspects in business such as ratio between current assets and current liabilities, ratio between fixed assets and long term liabilities, ratio between cash in hand the immediate liabilities, ratio between the stocks in hand and demand for the goods etc. Analysis of these ratios helps one to find where the attention is required and so to take the business decisions accordingly.

Trading on Equity:
Trading on equity helps one to increase the market value and the return on shares of a business entity. Registering with the stock exchanges, possessing a DMAT accounting and doing online trading can make an effective trading on equity.

Cash flow analysis:
Cash flow analysis is an analysis about the how much money has come into the business and how much has gone out of the business. It helps one decide about the required working capital or cash capital in his business.
