Golf is a game that has been increasing in popularity in many countries. There are many reasons for the popularity of the game. The most common reasons are the relaxation that a person gets while playing golf. The other factors are the decreased chance of any injury while playing golf, unlike other contact sports. Golf is also considered to be a game for gentlemen. Many more people are taking up Golf as a hobby and pastime. One of the few important things that have to be learnt by any beginner in Golf is how to hold a Golf club because it lays a major role when a person plays Golf. The other important thing that has to be known by the person is how to drive a golf ball straight. This is very important because once a person learns to drive a golf ball straight, all the other methods of playing golf can be learnt by the person. The most important factors that a person has to keep in mind while driving a golf ball straight are listed here. In fact these are the factors that determine how to drive a golf ball straight. 1. Clear mind: The person who wants to drive the golf ball straight has to first have a clear mind. This is the most important thing because when a person has something else on the mind while they are driving the golf ball, it can change direction and not be hit straight. This means that the person who is playing golf should have a clear mind while playing. 2. Concentration: Concentration is another important factor that determines if a person will be able to drive the golf ball straight. If the individual has enough concentration, then the shot is sure to be a success. If the concentration is not present, then the person might not be able to hit the shot powerfully 3. Power of the shot: The power with which the person hits the shot also determines if the golf ball will travel straight. A person should have a good stance when he is hitting the shot because the stance will add more power to the shot. There are many people who do not really think about this. Other than the stance, the hold on the golf club also can help to add power to the shot. The power with which the person hits the shot helps to make the ball travel longer and straighter. 4. The hold on the golf club: The hold with which the person grips the golf club is another factor that plays a role in weather a person is able to drive the golf ball straight. There are different types of holds present. There are some holds where the person can get a lot of power and if these holds are used, then the person will get enough power to hit the golf ball straight. There are some holds that only give limited ability for the person to hit the ball powerfully. These are the various factors that a person has to remember while driving a golf ball straight.
