FACE - A TRUE PICTURE OF THE INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER Every individual has different ideas, feelings, passions, ambitions and reaction. Each one of us having different Bio-psychological mixture of the above characteristics and FACE alone can indicate many things about our nature, individual character and personality. This art is also called face reading We can judge someone's personality just by looking at his or her face. To study human personality we have to take the following five points into consideration. 1. Openness, learning attitude - creative, original, independent 2. Assiduousness - careful, hard-working, conscientious 3. Extraversion - affectionate, talkative, sociable 4. Agreeableness - forgiving, sympathetic, warm 5. Neuroticism - nervous, worrying, highly strung So to study the nature of a face along with the above five points, two distinct categories are taken into consideration during face reading. 1. PROFILE 2. FRONT VIEW OF THE FACE PROFILE There are five distinct types of profile used in face reading 1. CONVEX TYPE The person of this characteristic has a sloping forehead, slightly prominent brows, a large nose often slightly curved and a receding chin. An ideal example of practical hard headed person of DEMANDING NATURE with impatient characters. 2. CONCAVE TYPE Opposite to convex features. The forehead is prominent, the eye-brows almost flat, the nose is smaller and either straight, bent or curved slightly inward. The mouth is flatter and often well formed while the chin curves outward. Person shows this type is usually good-natured and patient and very deliberate in judging things. 3. PLANE Proportionate features with balanced state of mind by not having so demanding attitude of Concave type, neither so deliberate like Concave type; thus person who having plane profile usually shows very consistent character. 4. CONVEX-CONCAVE Here the upper part of the individual's face is convex and the lower part is concave. Person having this type of profile often shows dominating and almost ruling personality and also he or she makes deliberate alliance and persistency of the concave. 5. CONCAVE-CONVEX The upper part of the face is concave and the lower part is convex. Person who possesses this profile is very weak character, impulsive in nature and not at all reliable. Now let us study some of the features of a full face. THE FORHEAD: High, broad and straight, shows rational power and brilliancy of creative wisdom. Low and straight, projects the opposite. Low and inclined back, gives quickness of thought and capability. Protruding eyebrow bones projects reasoning powers out of the ordinary. THE NOSE Well formed, large or humped, indicates energy and driving power, either mental or physical according to the indications of other features. Small, effeminate or tilted noses show the lack of energy and decisiveness. THE EARS Set low, these show the ambitious idealistic type and again the reverse show the reverse nature. THE MOUTH A small one usually shows a tendency to feminine features. Such a man usually shy and not mannish in his way; all of this is, of course, subject to this one feature not being nullified by others. The large mouth indicates the more talkative nature and its width shows generosity of character. THE CHIN The projecting, firm chin tells of one owner's determination and tendency towards action, just as the receding type shows lack of it. The squared chin shows the physical tendency and the pointed chin of the triangle face reveals the artistic type. By using these face reading tips, a quick glance and a quick judgment on one or two prominent features will give us a good idea of the personality of the person with whom we want to communicate our own views.
