Now, with the market crash and recession, stress has become an unavoidable part of our life. Due to stress, many of us have lost sleep. For all those who are deprived of your calm sleep, you have the chance of turning insomniacs if you continue to lose sleep for weeks. A healthy body and mind demand a good eight hours of long sleep. Here are a few effective tips for a good sleep.

* List down all the things that nag you on a sheet of paper. Mark the best possible solution against it. Stick this paper in front of your bed for you to see. If your sleep is disturbed by any of these problems, look at the list and think positively ˇ§I have got a solution for it. I will work on it tomorrowˇ¨. This will make you relax and will allow you to have a good sleep.

* Studies have found that people who have more depth in relationships, i.e. who maintain a good rapport with their children, spouse, parents and friends is less prone to stress. So develop a good healthy relationship with your dear and near ones. It will definitely make you calm and induce sleep. After all troubled relationships are one of the greatest problems. Try to sort out your problems with your loved ones as early as you could. Don't procrastinate.

* Develop a big heart to forgive those who have wronged you: Think of those whom you have not forgiven. Try to be in their shoes and invent all the possible justifications on their part for such behavior. This will really help you to forgive them.

* Enjoy each moment of life: Life comes to us with little packed up moments. Enjoy each moment doing the right action at the right moment. This will help you to go to sleep without a heavy heart. Since you are not aware what is in store for you the next moment, just relax and leave your baggage of worries aside. Donˇ¦t let it trouble your sleep. It definitely will make a positive change in your outlook of life.

* Donˇ¦t dream unachievable unrealistic targets: Be contented with little stress giving things in your life. If you wish to be a Vice President of the company, then prepare yourself to take up the great stress along with your high position. If you lack the mental capability to handle such a huge amount of stress, then avoid such big dreams. Contentment in life will improve the quality and quantity of happiness in your life. Not all the material things, all the sophisticated gadgets, garments, apparels and accessories that you buy will be able to give you happiness and good sleep. The day when you realize this, you will arrive at the path to a healthy living.

* Donˇ¦t take your work to home: There are many people make their homes into offices doing all the pent up work at home. This is definitely not a good model for a happy family. Your family members will complain of your lack of attention and care for them. It will also increase your stress. Home is for relaxation and enjoy your moments with your family.

All these tips will definitely help you to have a good sleep, specially duting tough times.
