Forecasting the future is an ability which makes one to prepare and plan for future. A person who can predict and prepare the future very well, can face any possible risks very well. Future is not uncertain, but one can predict the future based on the past things and present symptoms. Fall in the economy of many companies would end up in the national or global recession. Recession would definitely affect one's career growth in terms of salary increment and promotions. So he should be well prepared for it. The cost of living goes on increasing, in spite of any recession. But if the salary increment does not cope up with increasing cost of living, a person has to adjust to it. There may be the possibility of destructions like natural calamites or terror attacks. Based on the messages given by the investigation teams, one can predict about it and be prepared for it. Predictions on future events would can be a matter of one's survival. Even the possibility of war is advisable to forecast in advance. A war would result in non-availability of necessary goods. So, one should be predicting such situation and keep the stock the necessary things, before it actually starts. There are the practices of checking the astrology about the future happening. But that is not scientific. Most of the times, astrology has proven to be wrong. There was an incident, where a person who was saying the astrology of the people, in a village function could not predict himself about an incident, some rock kept on the top of the place where he was sitting, fell on him and he died in it. A person who can say about other's future, why couldn't he predict the future of himself, about a deadly accident? So people should not blindly go as per the words of the people who say astrology.
