Implementation of dress code preserves tradition and culture. Ancient Indians have devised unique dress codes for men and women to preserve tradition and culture. The negative role of globalization is that it drives away traditions and cultures. It also changes attitudes of men and women. With the globalization, the country and the world has inverted upside down when women are dressed like men and men are dressed like women. It is very sad thing that Indians are importing western culture, neglecting own culture inside. Many Indians are unaware that India has world's best tradition and culture. Women in india are usually compared to goddesses. A goddess gains respect as long as she remains in her traditional saree costume and lives in the temple. But at the same time, she loses her respect and becomes unsecured if she comes out with sexy jean outfit. This is what we see in today's educated girls in India. These days we see many teen girls dressed like tomboys and wandering around the streets in such a way that boy's parents are quite worried about their future daughter in law. Due to too much of independence, they are wearing tight jean dress in such a way that their physical anatomy is clearly visible. Dress code is least concerned in case of men, as in men, courage is admired; while it is more concerned with women, as in women beauty is admired. For example, Helen, the woman of beauty is the reason for the ruin of Troy Kingdom in the Trojan War. This is a well-known accepted natural phenomenon. There is no much change in male dressing since ages. Males are wearing the same trousers and shirts, but with different designs. But now the feminine dressing sense in India have been completely changed. All this happened only because of globalization. Anyhow, women are more tempted than men do. In India, women are given more respect than in any countries of the world. They are given the place of goddesses in Hindu scriptures. The nation, in which the women are respected, will be blessed and praised. When talking about a country's tradition, women are most admired characters than men. Nevertheless, when the same women leaves the tradition and culture behind, what is the future of a country's tradition? It is a fact that the construction or destruction of a society or a family or a nation relies only on women, but not on men. A society or a family or a nation, in which women preserve tradition and culture, is said to be well constructed. Teen girls should possess wisdom that all the dresses that they feel comfortable with, may or may not be acceptable by others. For an Indian skin texture Saree and Punjabi dresses suits well rather than western dress. Saree and Salwar costumes reflect true maternity and submissiveness, while western dress reflects boisterousness and tom boyishness. More over, Dress code not only preserves the tradition and culture, but also erases the inequality between rich and poor, castes and religions. The dress code must be in such a way that it should preserve tradition and culture, but should not resemble western culture. However, it is best to implement the dress code for both men and women in colleges.
