Sachin's recent achievement as everyone knows is surpassing 17000 runs in ODI cricket.He also holds the highest number of runs in test cricket. It is not surpassing that almost everybody in India including a small child know about cricket and Sachin.. Yes! the great legend who ruled the world of cricket for over 20 years. There are heaps of records by him which often he only broke them to set newer ones. His recent achievement as everyone knows is surpassing 17000 runs in ODI cricket. He also holds the highest number of runs in test cricket.Cricket legends like Shane Warne appreciated him and rated him to be their best player. Apart from cricket, he is a true gentleman.he did not involve in any major controversies in his carrier. He had many ups and downs in his career. Over some years his major was fitness. Critics all round the world advised him to retire at one one stage. But he had bashed them all out with some very timely fine knocks . Coming to his records, we cannot possibly discuss everyone of them,but importantly he has highest no of hundreds in both ODIs and in test cricket. He has highest no of fifties in ODIs. He played most ODIs than any player in the world. He has the most "man of the match" awards in ODIs.He scored most number of runs in international matches means in both ODIs and tests(over 30,000 runs). Through out his career he had unfruitful experiences with Umpires,famous one being the " Steve Bucknor's decision " . But he always respects any decision from umpire. His recent knock of 175 at Hyderabad is one of the greatest knocks of his career. It gave a stubborn reply to the critics made by the legend Border that he should retire in ODIs. Really India is proud to have on of the citizens like that who upholds India's glory in front of the world.
