Corruption has not left even the field of education. Education is a much respected thing and teachers who serve in that field are respected as Gurus, who are blessing the students with their knowledge. But the fact is that, there are many corruptions in the field of education. It is true that not everybody is involved in the corruptions. But these corruptions have made people to doubt about the entire staff in the field of education. There are many incidents of question papers being sold to the students prior to the examination. In an incident, a lecturer has been caught while dictating the question papers in his home to more than thirty students of a class, on the previous night of the examinations. It would directly discourage the hardworking students. This would make all the students lazy. If the examination can be passed without working hard, then there is no need of working hard. Students won't gain the knowledge. They would just get certificates easily. But when they get into the career, they would really struggle and repent for it. This would even affect the quality of goods and services. Our product and the services would not stand in the competition at the international market. Even there are malpractices of giving the bribes to evaluators to give more marks. There are even the practices of bribing the invigilator of the examination hall to permit copying. At the higher level of administration, certificates are even being sold. It seems like, corruption in the field has become too much and it is causing very sensitive effect. So it is the need of the time that, the government should take the strict measures to tackle the corruption in education field.
