There are many competitive examinations which acts as a gateway for many professions. Passing the competitive examination of central or state boards really opens up the opportunities to get into dignified jobs. But often many people do not take the attempt of write these competitive examinations. The main reason is, these competitive examinations require a lot of hard work and preparation. Not everywhere there is a formal class room system of teaching for these and there is no clearly specified syllabus. People prefer professional courses offered at the colleges with regular classes and with specific syllabus. But if a person could really prepare himself for the competitive examination and could succeed in passing these exams, that not only gives him the opportunity of dignified professions, but also make capable for independent achievements. That would really strengthen the analytical ability and talent of a person. From the primary educations, we have the system of mugging up the things from the text books and omitting the things in the examination papers. Students are addicted to the system of understanding the things in the text books, only when a teacher explains it. But rarely students try to understand those things themselves. After all the analysis and interpretation of the teacher need not be right always. Even the barrier of communication may convey different thing to the student, instead of what the teacher actually mean. So the students should practice the independent and self study during their education and they should equip themselves towards facing the competitive examinations with the self efforts.
