Cell phones were introduced into this world hardly a few years back. In the few years it has been in existence, it has grown into giant proportions. First, it was only being used by the rich and mighty. Now, it has become so common and affordable that it is causing a revolution. Cell phones have become an inseparable and integral part of all our lives. The reason why cell phones are so popular is because it is small. It can be easily carried. It keeps us to do our work on the move and keep track of events wherever we are. Cell phones in the recent years have gone through great transformations. From being used to make calls on the move initially, now it is being used as a small computer. There are many uses of having a modern cell phone in your hand. The exciting benefits of cell phones are: 1. Communication: This is the primary function of any cell phone. It should have proper speakers and signal reception. This will help it serve its primary purpose well. Messages also help in communicating with people easily. 2. Entertainment: Cell phones are now increasingly being used as an object for entertainment. It is used to hear music, view movies and provides other such entertainment. Younger people buy phones that have these features. Now many cell phones have downloadable games and these help the person to play their favorite games on the move. 3. Capture important moments: Cell phones have the added features of a movie camera and also video camera. IT helps you to capture any important moments in the camera and then transfer it to other devices. 4. Computer: Most recent features are the accessibility of Internet from the cell phone. This helps in sending and receiving e mails from family members and clients. It has many added features that are being used by businessmen who keep traveling. They have an integrated office in their cell phones. These many features of the cell phones have caught the imagination of the common man. Cell phones also have become increasingly affordable. This has led to a boom in the cell phone market. The pace at which the new features are being added on to cell phone is phenomenal. One cannot imagine what the cell phone will be used for in a few years. It might become an integrated tool that controls all electronic devices in the home.
