Cell phones have been a boon to many people and have made communication cheap and also effective. Millions of cell phones have taken over the world. Each person may have even two or more phones and they use these phones at least ten times a day on an average. This is because the communication through the cell phones are easy because the phones do not need a wire and are also easily taken from one place to another.

Though people use the cell phones a lot, many people do not know the various etiquettes associated with cell phone use. Knowing these etiquettes will help the person to be able to use the phone more effectively without causing problem to any other person. These etiquettes are listed in this article.

1. The loudness:

The person who is talking on the cell phone should know that they should not shout on the phone. This will disturb the people around the person when they talk. This is especially true when the person is talking in public. The louder a person talks, the more inappropriate it is. This is because when a person talks very loudly, they disturb the thoughts and also the conversations of people around them. This should not be done and this is very important in cell phone etiquette.

2. Talking while driving:

A person should know that they should not talk while they are driving a vehicle. This should be followed strictly because it can even be fatal to people who are traveling on the road. There are many accidents that occur because people who have been driving and talking on the cell phone have knocked down pedestrians.

3. Appropriate talk:

There are many people who talk about all kinds of things in public. These people even talk about private things on the road and near other people. Holding these kinds of conversations should not be done because it can cause various problems for people around. It can make them feel embarrassed about the whole situation and can also cause various other problems.

4. Talking unnecessary things:

The individual who is on the phone should not talk things that are not necessary. This is because when a person talks unnecessary things, it wastes their time and also the time of the other people who are around them. This should be avoided and is very important aspect of cell phone etiquette.

5. The place where you talk on the phone:

The place where the person talks on the phone is also very important. There are many people who talk on the cell phone when they are the movies or other places where many people would be enjoying the performance and would want to hear the conversation. If the person talks on the phone in these areas, it is very disturbing for the people around. This should be avoided at all costs and this is another important factor that should be considered in cell phone etiquette.

These are the various factors that are cell phone etiquette. The people who regularly talk on the cell phone should remember this and keep this in mind when they talk on the phone.
