Buying a second hand vehicle has been the choice of most of the middle and low class people. The main reason being the constant increase in the cost of living. Second hand vehicles are available at a much cheaper rate. The number of people buying and selling new cars has being going up because it enables a limited budget individual to go for a higher vehicle. To top it all, there is an option of bargaining as well in order to get the best price because even the seller is just a consumer and not a salesman. The seller most likely wants to sell his vehicle in order to go for a new one and so he just wants to get rid of his existing vehicle. So the price can be in favor of the buyer.

But the main drawback in purchasing a second hand vehicle is the cost of repair and maintenance. No Owner would sell a thing, when it is in good condition and when he is happy with it. Only when it loses its condition and when he is not happy with it, the matter of selling comes. Most of the times, just for the sake of selling the goods and washing their hands, it is being temporarily made to look as if it is in good condition. Even the seller can get a better price, by making the Vehicle look better.

But the buyer would definitely know its real condition, after a while. Then onwards he has to spend much on its repair and maintenance. Many a time it would turn to not usable condition. In other words it may go scrap. Finally when a person calculates all those losses by buying a used car or any other vehicle, he will consider buying a new one.

So it is advisable that, always before buying a second hand Vehicle, its condition has to be checked very well and If that is not the case, it is always better to go for a new one. The commission of the broker also has to be considered. Always it is better to avoid the brokers.
