No matter what, every Friday it's more of a disappointment an ordinary cine-goer suffers from rather than getting a whiff of fresh air. The same masala, same "different" approach (as the filmmakers claim).

Be it hardcore action or a romantic comedy or a mix of these, one can easily make out the original version where the movie had been lifted from.

Bollywood is experiencing a healthy trend of ‘different' themes (relieved!!), as far as the stories being told on the silver screen are concerned. Another feature of all the different films is the item number they have. It's a must. All they can do with this is to change the girl or the story a liitle bit to suit the song!! Otherwise what was the song in Contract for? Any guesses? And then they claim it to be an original concept.

Seems like even good directors are churning out bad movies these days.

We still have some hope though! Amongst the whole lot of movies released during the past couple of weeks, Singh is King was one of the most hilarious. What say? Good drama and comedy went hand in hand during the 2.5 hr spectacle.

Akshay Kumar obviously scored a 10 on a rating scale of 10 here along with the beautiful Katrina Kaif. These two look good on screen (well, no pun intended here).

The character roles were well crafted too. Each of them, especially Om Puri and Javed Jaffrey, left a long lasting sweet impression.

The USP is of course the fact that the movie is free of worthless frills e.g. an unwanted item song and stuff like that.

Happy viewing!! Balle balle!!
