Malware is considered to be various programs that are present that cause the person to have a computer that is on the verge of breakdown. It can also be dangerous for you to have a computer system that has malware because these programs can make the details and data from your computer be stolen and then it can be used by some people for activities that are not legal.

The malware in each and every system should be prevented from entering the computer and even if the malware has been able to enter the computer, immediate steps need to be taken to make sure that your computer is rid of the malware.

There are various simple but effective means of preventing and also removing the malware from your computer. This article gives a list of the things that can be done to remove the malware.

1. Internet use:


There are many malware that are present in the internet and the use of internet is one of the primary reasons for the presence of the malware. The person can make sure of success, that you can prevent the malware if you try to avoid internet use. This may not always be practical. So the next best thing has to be resorted to.

2. Pop up blocker:

The person can also have the pop up blocker installed in the computer. This is because once you have the pop up blocker, the individual can be at peace because most of the windows that may contain malware and try to enter the computer are blocked by this pop up blocker.

3. Anti virus installation:

All the computers that are hooked onto the internet should have adequate and the latest versions of the anti virus software because the virus gets updated by itself periodically and if you do not have the latest anti virus software then your computer will be invaded by the malware. There are various antivirus software that are present and can be installed. It should be understood that though there are free anti virus software that are present, they may not be very effective against all the latest versions of malware.

4. Operating system installations:

The operating system that has been installed in your computer also needs to be updated because only when the operating system has been updated will your system be completely safe. The developer of these operating systems give various updates that block and prevent malware So when you download them, you can prevent the malware.

5. Specific malware:

There are certain programs on the internet that can act against specific malware and these should be taken advantage of. These malware can be blocked and also deactivated by the specific programs. So if you know the malware that is in your computer, then you can throw out the malware by downloading the specific ones.

Though it is very difficult to completely prevent or avoid malware, regular updates of various programs will help you to keep the data in your computer safe and your computer to be healthy.
