BPO/Call center sector has given jobs to millions of people in India. At the same time people have an inferior perception about these BPO jobs. There is a perception that these jobs are unsecured and not reliable. But in fact BPO sector has been growing at a fast pace and it has been giving good exposure to young people toward the work culture of UK, USA and other developed countries.

So we need to encourage the BPO sector. By delivering good quality and productivity we can retain and grow in this sector. It makes people to understand about the global business and culture. It has been observed that investment in this sector has been increasing to the remarkable extent.

In BPO both the parties get good benefit. The company which is outsourcing its business its process to other company, can concentrate only on the core functions. At the same time, it can expect the processes being done at good quality and at less cost. The company which is taking over the process can hire the domestic employees at considerably less cost and run its business, profitably. Through the training program arranged by the clients, there can be good amount knowledge sharing too.

There may be a difficulty of working in shifts. We may overcome it, by arranging adequate facilitates to the employees. We need to have good security arrangements to the BPO employees. Government should have liberal policies in bringing more and more BPO business to the country. It will play a vital role in solving the problem of unemployment.
