You believe it or not but the fact that only in 13 seconds Virendra Mehta can tell you the meaning along with the page number from the dictionary. Passed his 10th grade with only 33% marks, he may not have even thought of achieving this milestone at that point of time. This 25 year teacher of Baba Mastnath college Rohtak situated in Haryana, the northern state of India was a below average student in his school days. However the picture is very different now. Mehta can tell you the meaning of any word along with the page no from the oxford Lerner dictionary. To find out the truth of the claim when asked few words, Mehta responded with the meaning along with the page number, and the average time taken by Mehta to answer was 13 second. Mehta decided to memorize the dictionary while he was preparing for his engineering examination. As per Mr. Mehta it took him almost six to seven months to memorize 80,000 words along with the page numbers. Mehta admitted that he was very weak in English and Mathematics when he was in 10th grade and after realizing the fact he decided to convert his biggest weakness into his strong point and now he love the dictionary. Mr. Mehta was used to spend 6 to 7 hours a day in memorizing and along with that he used to practice yoga on daily basis. Believer and follower of Lord Krishna and Swami Vivekananda, his dreams came true when his name was entered in Limca book of records in the year 2006, earlier to Mehta this record was under the name of Mr. Mahaveer Jain who is from the same college. As per Mehta he has used the photography concept to memorize the dictionary. Photographic memory is a concept by which a virtual image is crated inside your mind and is stored forever and can be recalled when required. If we believe him we can use our eyes as camera and if we understand the use of this, we will be able to remember more and more without any loss.
