In the present day life, to do the daily work at home, we use all sorts of machines and the physical work is only minimum. By eating fast foods and junk foods, the carbohydrate content would increase causing weight increase. Everybody wish to live as long as they could and remain healthy until they die. To maintain fitness, physical exercises are to be practiced daily. One such form of the exercise is called aerobic exercise. It is a form of physical exercise to strengthen muscles and control obesity by increasing fat burn. Those who are very busy, could do these exercises whenever they find time, in the early morning, during lunch hour, evening or weekend.

For building and strengthening of muscles, the anaerobic exercises could help. For fat reduction, the aerobic exercises could be used. The combination of both could give very good result. The aerobic exercise gives movement to all parts of the body. It helps for proper functioning of heart and lungs. We could choose a proper combination of aerobic exercises like walking, jogging, bicycling, stair climbing, aerobic dance etc. It gives a rhythmic movement to all parts of the body and the oxygen rich blood circulation increases.

While beginning aerobic exercise, first we should do warm up exercise for 5 minutes. Then practice aerobic exercise for 5 minutes and take a short break. Then we could continue doing the exercise as much as we could. Normally, it is enough if we could do exercise for 30 minutes. We could feel the movement of muscles in arms, hips and legs while doing the aerobic exercises. The fast and deep inhaling of oxygen increases blood flow. The rate of release of carbon dioxide and other wastes from the body could also be increased by doing aerobic exercise. We should not begin to do the exercise immediately after eating.

Health Benefits of aerobic exercises:
By doing aerobic exercises regularly, the blood pressure would be under control. The muscles would get flexibility. The bones would get strengthened. To save us from the diseases like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, stroke and hypertension, we could practice aerobic exercise. Apart from everything, for weight control the practicing of aerobic exercise could help a lot. For releasing tension and recover from fatigue and depression, the aerobic exercise is really a good medicine. The sharpness of mind would also increase.

First anybody could start doing simple exercise suitable for them. The doing of exercise should not trouble our mind or body. The mind should accept it happily and the body should obey to practice it enthusiastically. To begin the activity is more important. We should watch the progress and set a target to achieve. We could increase the activities gradually. We could learn aerobic exercise by attending direct classes and do exercise with the help of the instructor. The people interested in music and dance could enjoy these classes well. We could search in internet regarding books, DVD etc for self-practicing if we are confident enough. For adults the aerobic exercise could help a lot in healthy aging process.
