With the world deep in recession now, the number of people who are being thrown out of jobs has been on a steady rise. This can lead to many social as well as economic problems both in the society as well as the family. The role of job portals in this tough time is very important. They help many people to be able to select the right job. It also helps potential employers to identify who would be best suited for their company. There are various other advantages of registering with Internet job portals for job search. 1. Wide coverage: When a person searching for a job registers with the job portal on the Internet, there is a wide coverage that cannot be reached by any other means. People from around the world are able to look at the resume of their potential employee at the click of a mouse on the computer. This has made searching for the right kind of person to work in the company much easier. 2. This is because if an Internet connection is present, the individual can keep browsing the job portals till they tire or get the right kind of results. It is more simple and easy than a physical job search by approaching various companies.
