Adsense: How it pays for Google and the website ownerBY: David Prakash Kumar | Category: Technology and Computers | Post Date: 2009-07-01
Google has many roles that it is doing with perfection on the internet. One major role is the opportunity for millions of people around the world to earn money with Google Adsense. The basic principle followed by the Adsense programme is like any other advertisements. Google realised that websites that are very popular will have many visitors. The visitors usually are taken to the web page by the search engines. When search engines search, they look for keywords. If these keywords are present in the webpage, it is shown in the search result. Once the page is viewed by the person, he may find the actual data that he was looking for. If the person had not found what he or she was looking for, then they would search again. This is where the Adsense comes to play. Google advertises on the webpages if required by the webmasters. These advertisements are usually related to the content in the web page. The searcher has the option of clicking on the advertisements to widen his search instead of going back to the browser and restarting the search. If the advertisement is clicked, by the one who is searching for the information, then there is a chance that Google will pay a certain amount for the website owner. The amount that is paid for clicking on an advertisement varies from time to time. It also varies with the amount of traffic to the site and also with the company that is advertising. Adsense sometimes pays millions of dollars each month. It may vary from time to time. The individual website owners can get paid anything from a few dollars to a few thousand dollars per website. There is not a single worthy rival to Adsense at present. So the majority of the market is with Google and its Adsense. There are specific methods of driving traffic to your website to earn more from your website. Some web sites are dedicated to earning money from Google Adsense. Even individuals without a web site can earn money from the Adsense program. All the person has to do is to have a blog opened. Free blog sites are available from Google blogger. This is a simple but effective method of earning revenue using Adsense. It might take time to be successful, but once the money starts flowing in, it will be an exciting option for the individual to fine tune the work and content of the website to increase the flow of money.
