Overview: Due to globalization, there is a steady growth in the global economy. The well developed countries reap the benefits of it, rather than the underdeveloped and developing countries. Australia has opened gate to all the countries, without putting much restrictions. The Asian countries now only started to take part in globalization. The rush to globalization is being done by Asian countries now and the doors are opened since 90s to western countries for international business. The European countries follow a slow and steady path in taking part in globalization and at times take a break, as they struggle a little due to social and economic adjustments. Many underdeveloped countries have not taken part in this race still. The forecast show hike in world GDP, first position being taken by US, followed by China, India and Russia. The global business cycle can be made strong, if all the countries cooperate. The factor of American economy: There is a slight fall in American economy in recent days due to hike in oil price. As the oil price touches new height, the purchasing power is reduced and global economical growth is affected adversely, because of this reason. Due to announcement of liquidation by Lehman Brothers Bank, the global market also tumbled and there is a sudden fall in global economy. The roller coaster ride may bring many ups and downs in global economy. When there was attack on twin towers few years back, there was a drop. The same condition prevails now. It is predicted that normal conditions will resume before December 2008. What are the changes due to adaption to globalization? The monopoly has gone and many people are entering business line and walking in the economical path everyday. New power centers are being created daily. The local governments and institutions started using the instrument of globalization. The global free trade has been encouraged by many countries. As a whole, there is a clear change globally in social activities and the global rules are modified to cater the needs of people. The betterment in social status of common people, pollution-free clean environment and reasonable hike in wage standard are assured now in many countries. All the countries are showing interest in settling global and interregional conflicts. They are interested in earning international respect and influence. The satellite TV brings the culture of all countries to the drawing room of a common man. There is fusion of music seen everywhere in the world. The recipes of all countries are being shared through internet and other media. Many tourists travel to other countries for sightseeing, medical tourism and studies. The scientists, doctors and software engineers are given due respect in foreign countries. How to adapt to globalization? All the countries are shaping them well for adapting themselves to globalization. Due to this, the world economy is also being reshaped often. The country should encourage people to learn more foreign languages as they can do business well, if they know the language, apart from cultural benefits of learning a learning. The exporters of commodities should start to spend the increased income. The common man should show interest in knowing what is happening in the world. The students should take part in all activities and parents should encourage them. The local government can help more business people to take part in international business. All the countries should encourage foreign visitors. Last but not the least, is everybody should set their minds to accept globalization, to reap the common benefits.
